Description: This painting is a collaborative work painted by Lynette and David Winjinana depicting the changing style of the Western Desert Artists, a continuing evolution commenced by Barney Daniels and Maxie Tjampitjinpaand used by World renown artist Eunice Napangardi. The fleck style gives a new dimension. The painting depicts women gathering 3 main food sources, witchetty grubs, honey ants and yarla (bush potato). The background colours and dots reflect the colours of the area known as Mt. Leibig. This painting is one of the very early paintings combining both fleck and dotting and was exhibited in London in July 1990 along with a Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri exhibition. An offer of $20000 was rejected at this exhibition.
