Description: Traditional striking stippled dot women’s ceremonial design depicting women singing and dancing with their dancing sticks around two ceremonial sites at Chilla Wells, west of Yuendumu in the area of the artist’s birthplace. The concentric circles represent ant hills, the white dot lines represent clouds. The wavy lines on both sides represent Tali (Sand hills) the stippled lines represent body paint designs which the women paint on their bodies while performing sacred ceremonies. The women also collect bush tucker in this area while performing these ceremonies which can last for several days. The Dreamtime stories which go back 40,000 years. A great sale price
