Description: This unique spiritually alive painting with soul, depicts Tingari site at Kiri Kulu in the area of the artist’s birthplace. This sacred claypan rock-hole site is to the west of Lake Macdonald near Walungurru in the western desert where he is one of the senior Pintupi men. This site has been used for performing Malliera (initiation) ceremonies for thousands of years. The Tingari people form part of the teachings of the post-initiatory youths today as well as providing explanations for contemporary customs.
