Topsey Peterson Napangardi

Topsey Peterson Napangardi born circa 1950, from Haast Bluff, began painting in the 1980’s for Papunya Tula.
Topsey is married to traditional owner Leo Peterson. She depicts the stories from the Haasts Bluff and Kunajarrayi area. She now paints very innovative interpretations of her traditional country for Watiyawanu Artists of Yamunturrngu.
She often paints alongside her sister, celebrated artist Lilly Kelly Napangarti.
A highly talented artist in her own right, she is a rising star whose artworks are sought after by collectors worldwide.
Topsey has been to Japan for an exhibition of her works she is in the Thomas Vroom collection and many other private art collections.
