Nancy Ross Nungurrayi

Nancy Ross Nungurrayi (Deceased) from the Pintubi tribe, lived at Kintore, Northern Territory.
Born circa 1935 at Kumil, west of the Pollock Hills in Western Australia.
As a small child she lived with her parents at Wala Wala, west of Kiwirrikura Community.
Commenced painting for Papunya Tula in 1996 and is one of their most respected women artists.
She is the sister to celebrated artist Naarta, who often painted their Dreamtime stories side by side.
Her traditional style is very much sought after by collectors worldwide.
