In this work, Dorothy has used blue to represent water; red for the earth, and yellow for the spinifex grasses found across her country. The traditional owners perform ceremony to honour the Ancestral Beings of the Rain and Lightning Dreaming. The lightning hit the ground and created a fire that swept through the landscape.
