Description: This traditional striking design represents the Munekgi (Black Plum) represented by the black lines & the white dots represent the flowers. The yellow dots represent the new flowers & the dark yellow dots represent the fruit. The women clean the ground flat under the bush & they use digging sticks to hit the branches & knock down the Black Plums & they dry the fruit & make it into a biscuit which tastes like strong black currents. Aboriginal people regard the Black Plum as a valuable source of bush tucker. Available in 3 by 120cm x 58 artworks. Can purchase as set of 3 or individually. Beautiful work at an affordable price
