Description: This painting depicts a major women's ceremonial site Mina Mina, the artist's custodial country in the Tanimi Desert. Mina Mina is the site for the Karntakurlangu Jukurrpa which is an important women's ceremonial site for Warlpiri people. They initiate their young women and teach them their culture. This site is mainly made up of two enormous soakage areas that exists as salt clay pans rarely filled with water. Dorothy depicts the crustations of salt stretching infinately, etched with the tracks of the women as their paths mark the earth, crossing and merging, telling their stories. A blue chip investment
