Description: This painting depicts the country through which an old woman, Kutungka Napanangka, travelled during her journey from the west. She visited the rock hole and underground cave site of Mantati outstation. Walangkura depicts the area surrounding Papunga, in which an old women, Kutungka travelled through. She visited these rock holes that are shown as circles and crossed the sand dunes that are shown as lines around the outside of the painting. Papunga is west of Mantai Outstation which is approx 70km west on Kintore NT. This painting depicts the hill country through which an old woman, Kutungka Napanangka, travelled during her journey from the west. She visited the rock hole and underground cave site of Mantati outstation. This old woman is said to be a bit of a "devil devil" as she kills and eats people. A Spectacular Blue Chip Investment Work.
