Description: A beautifully painted didgeridoo depicting Bush Banana Dreaming The Central Desert Australian Aboriginal people consider the Bush Banana plants, called the “Langua” to be of great importance because of their nutritional value and healing properties. Bush medicine leaves are traditionally boiled in a large bucket for medicinal purposes. The resulting leaf paste is then applied to the patient’s back, chest or neck to relieve the symptoms of headaches, back aches, muscle soreness, chest pains, upset stomachs and the flu. They are eaten as a fruit and also parts of the vine are used for medicinal purposes. Central Desert Aborigines consider them a delicacy food. Bush Banana plants grow in rock crevices, close to water holes, or dry riverbeds in spinifex country. This painting shows the different colours depicting the different stages of new growth with the changing seasons. Very Responsive, great tonal qualities, easy to play Worldwide Delivery. 14 Day money back guarantee
