Pintupi Tribe
Riley Major was born in 1948 at Putjurra, South of Mt.Liebig, and is from the Pintupi tribe.
He was taught to paint by his elder brother, George Tjangala, in the early 1980's, during the early days of the Pupunya Tula Art Movement.
