Description: This Traditional striking painting depicts Sacred Sites, rock holes & Tali (Sand hills) at Yalkipi Outstation, near Papunya which is her father’s country & the area of the artist’s birthplace.
Women use this area to perform their sacred ceremonies & teach their young women their Dreamtime culture. The round shapes represent the edible berries known as KAMPURARRPA or desert raisin from small scrubs SOLANUM Centrale often called Mungury (bush tucker sites)
